The Rubis Switzerland performed well with our testers, however was not as quick at pulling out patches of hair as the Revlon – Square Tip because of its smaller tips. If you are looking for precision plucking, we recommend the Rubis Switzerland – 3- 3/4” Slant Tip, but the Rubis Switzerland – Straight Tip is a solid option for those who insist on a square tip. While the tip isn’t a dramatic angle, it can grip even the most minuscule hairs. The matte, non-slip texture on the outside is another nice touch, as it keeps the tool comfortably in your hands.
Tweezer Guru Pointed Tweezers
Other than that, our only complaint is that the packaging was hard to open. René de la Garza, a celebrity brow artist and esthetician, says stainless steel tweezers are ideal. Made of stainless steel, these tweezers are durable and easy to clean, and they qualify for the free sharpening services that Tweezerman is known for.
The only downside is that they may dull over time—especially because they do not come with any type of sharpening service. That said, at this price point, you can probably afford to replace them every five years if you need to.
